Hyundai Motor India has launched the updated 2026 version of the Hyundai Verna in the country with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 10.98 lakh. The mid-size sedan receives a range of design updates, additional features and revised variant names while retaining its existing petrol powertrain options.
Prices for the updated 2026 Hyundai Verna model range up to Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant. With this update, Hyundai aims to strengthen the Verna’s position in the mid-size sedan segment where it competes with models such as the Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.
Along with the feature additions, Hyundai has also introduced a revised variant structure that now follows the naming convention used on the Hyundai Venue.

2026 Hyundai Verna Variant Line-up & Prices
The 2026 Verna is available in six variants: HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8 and HX10. Prices vary depending on engine and gearbox combinations.

Compared with the previous version, the entry-level variant is now around Rs 18,000 more expensive, while the top variant sees a price increase of up to Rs 1.1 lakh.
2026 Hyundai Verna Exterior Updates
The exterior design of the 2026 Hyundai Verna receives subtle revisions aimed at refreshing the look of the sedan.
Key changes include a black chrome radiator grille, a dual LED projector headlamp setup, and reworked bumpers. Hyundai has also introduced new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The second option is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 160hp and 253Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) with this engine.
No diesel engine option is available for the Verna in the current lineup.
