Aprilia Tuono 457 Price Reduced: Aprilia Tuono 457 has become more affordable in India following a price revision by Aprilia. The streetfighter is now priced at Rs. 3.97 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra), down from Rs. 4.24 lakh earlier. With this revision, the motorcycle now costs only Rs. 2,000 more than its original launch price.
The updated pricing reflects Aprilia’s decision to absorb the impact of the revised GST structure, commonly referred to as GST 2.0.

Aprilia Tuono 457 Price Reduced: Impact of GST 2.0

Under GST 2.0, motorcycles with engine capacities above 350cc saw the tax rate increase from 31 percent to 40 percent. When the new tax rate came into effect, the Tuono 457’s price rose by Rs. 29,000, taking its ex-showroom price in Maharashtra to Rs. 4.24 lakh.
At the time, the expected price increase was around Rs. 15,000, making the final hike significantly higher than anticipated. This placed the Tuono 457 at a disadvantage in the highly competitive middleweight motorcycle segment.
Discounts and limited-period offers
To offset the sharp price increase, Aprilia had introduced a flat Rs. 10,000 discount along with complimentary accessories. These included a factory quickshifter, which is otherwise priced at Rs. 20,500. These benefits were offered for a limited period and concluded on 25 December, 2025.
With the offers now discontinued, the latest price correction effectively replaces temporary discounts with a revised base price. This move brings the Tuono 457 much closer to its launch positioning without relying on short-term incentives.
No changes to mechanicals

Apart from the price adjustment, there are no changes to the motorcycle itself. The Tuono 457 continues to be powered by a 457cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 46.9 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque. The bike retains its original hardware, features, and performance specifications.
What this means for Indian buyers
Aprilia Tuono 457 Price Reduced: For Indian buyers, the revised pricing improves the Tuono 457’s value proposition, especially for riders considering an entry-level European performance motorcycle. With the price now close to its launch figure, the Tuono 457 stands out as the most affordable Italian ‘big bike’ currently on sale in India.
The price reduction is expected to make the motorcycle more accessible to buyers who were deterred by the earlier post-GST hike. Aprilia has not announced whether similar price corrections will be extended to other states, as prices vary based on local taxes.
As of now, the Tuono 457 continues to be offered without any mechanical updates, with the focus firmly on correcting pricing after the GST-related increase.
