BMW Motorrad India has announced the schedule for its BMW GS Experience 2026 rider training programme, aimed at owners of BMW GS adventure motorcycles. The two-day training initiative is designed to help riders improve their riding skills in controlled real-world conditions, covering both on-road and off-road environments.
The BMW GS Experience 2026 will be conducted across nine cities in India, making it one of the most extensive editions of the programme to date.

Nine-city schedule confirmed
BMW Motorrad will host the BMW GS Experience 2026 in Chandigarh, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Kochi and Chennai. The programme will run in multiple phases between February and October 2026.
The confirmed dates are Chandigarh (14–15 February), New Delhi (21–22 February), Mumbai (28 February–1 March), Bengaluru (28–29 March), Ahmedabad (5–6 September), Pune (12–13 September), Hyderabad (19–20 September), Kochi (26–27 September) and Chennai (10–11 October).
Level 1 and Level 2 modules offered together

For the first time, BMW Motorrad India will offer Level 1 and Level 2 training modules simultaneously on separate tracks at each venue. This allows riders to enrol based on their experience level and motorcycle category.
The programme is open to riders of the BMW G 310 GS as well as GS motorcycles with engine capacities above 650cc. Successful completion of the Level 1 module automatically qualifies participants for Level 2 training.
What the training includes
The Level 1 module focuses on fundamental off-road riding skills. Participants will be trained in correct riding posture, enduro-style steering techniques, emergency braking, riding on inclines, and handling motorcycles on uneven and loose surfaces.
Level 2 training is designed for more experienced riders and introduces advanced riding scenarios. These include riding through sand, gravel and slush, tackling steep uphill and downhill sections, off-camber riding, tight manoeuvres such as Figure of 8 exercises, and motorcycle recovery techniques on slopes.
Riders will also be introduced to Enduro Pro mode, which alters ABS, traction control and power delivery settings to suit off-road riding. Supervised riding sessions will be conducted on a combination of paved roads and off-road terrain.
What this means for Indian GS owners

For Indian GS owners, the BMW GS Experience 2026 provides structured and professional training to safely explore the full potential of their motorcycles. The programme focuses on skill development, confidence building and rider safety rather than competitive riding.
BMW Motorrad India has stated that registrations for the BMW GS Experience 2026 can be completed through authorised BMW Motorrad dealerships across the country.
With a wider reach and parallel training tracks, the 2026 programme aims to accommodate a broader range of GS riders while maintaining a controlled and safety-focused training environment.
Disclaimer: Programme dates, locations and training modules are subject to change at the discretion of BMW Motorrad India. Registration and participation are governed by dealership and organiser terms.
