Customer deliveries of the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV will begin in India from February 23, 2026, marking the market rollout of the company’s most affordable electric SUV so far. The model was unveiled last month, and bookings are already open across authorised dealerships as well as through Mahindra’s online channels.

The start of deliveries places the XUV 3XO EV directly into the fast-growing compact electric SUV segment, where buyers are increasingly looking for a balance between performance, range, and pricing.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is powered by a 39.4 kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor producing 147.5 hp and 310 Nm of torque. According to Mahindra, this setup allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.3 seconds, positioning it among the quicker offerings in its class.

Real-world driving range is estimated at around 285 km per charge, making it suitable for daily urban usage and moderate inter-city travel. The EV also offers three selectable drive modes—Fun, Fast and Fearless—which adjust throttle response and power delivery based on driving preference.

Fast-charging support is included, with the battery capable of charging from 0 to 80 percent in approximately 50 minutes using a 50 kW DC fast charger.

The electric SUV is available in two trims: AX5 and AX7L. Prices start at Rs 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom), with the higher AX7L variant costing Rs 97,000 more than the base trim.

Design-wise, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV closely mirrors its internal combustion counterpart. It features LED projector headlamps, signature daytime running lights with integrated indicators, a connected tail-lamp design, roof rails and a rear spoiler. Buyers can choose from six exterior colours, including Stealth Black, Everest White, Tango Red and Deep Forest.

Wheel sizes vary by variant, with the AX5 riding on 16-inch diamond-cut alloys and the AX7L upgrading to 17-inch wheels. The base model gets a single-pane sunroof, while the top variant features a panoramic unit.

Inside, both variants are equipped with twin 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation. Standard features across the range include dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, rear AC vents, multiple USB ports, cruise control, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and six airbags.

The AX7L trim adds Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane-keeping assist, collision warnings and traffic sign recognition. It also includes a 360-degree camera, blind-view monitoring, premium interior finishes and a Harman Kardon audio system.
